I had a few people comment on my scarecrow Halloween costume from last weekend. It was really easy to do, took very little time and I pulled it together solely using items I had in my house. In short, it’s a pretty perfect DIY mom costume.
I found this Pin that I modeled my makeup after:

I used:

• black liquid eyeliner
• red lipstick because I didn’t have a peachy orange color like she used
• a flannel shirt
• a floppy straw hat

My (gorgeous) friend Danielle did the makeup as well for her costume, and even used a color closer to the model’s. Danielle used an actual Halloween makeup kit for hers and she said she wished she’d used liquid liner instead because her makeup smeared throughout the day, despite using powder. Still looks pretty awesome, I must say.
